Flag Football
Boys & Girls welcomed and encouraged to play
- Focus on Fundamentals of Football: offensive and defensive rules and tactics, scoring, and much more!
- Ages: Kindergarten - 5th grade
- Location: John Tarleton Park
- Register as a team or sign up as an individual.
Practices
- Each team will practice once during the week at Lakeshore Park.
Games
- Games will be held at John Tarleton Park (3201 Division Street) on Sunday afternoons.
- KYS will hold a season-ending tournament for all leagues.

Registration starts Monday, June 16, 2025
- Registration ends Wednesday, August 6, 2025
- Coaches' meetings - week of August 11, 2025

- Games start Sunday, September 7, 2025
- NO GAMES ON THE FIRST SUNDAY (October 5th) OF FALL BREAK FOR KNOX COUNTY SCHOOLS!
- Last regular season game will be Sunday, November 2, 2025
- Tournament will be the week of November 3rd
Age Groups
Players will be grouped and compete in the following division of groups according to their current grade:
- Kindergarten to 1st Grade
- 2nd Grade to 3rd Grade
- 4th Grade to 5th Grade
Team Selection
- Coaches will draft kids to form their teams.
- Coaches can bring a group of kids into the league as a team. (Note: Any team(s) that register with less than 10 kids will have individual registrants added to their team(s) to fill a full roster.)
- Boys and girls will play in divisions with children in the appropriate grade levels.
- Coach and teammate requests - we will try to accommodate but it is not a guarantee.
