BASEBALL

KYS baseball is a recreational baseball program created to develop the skills of boys and girls ages 3 to 14. Our program has mandatory playing time for all players. The emphasis at KYS is not winning but getting better at individual and team skills each and every practice and game. Most games are held at Lakeshore Park. Baseball is offered in both the spring and the fall. Middle school teams are welcome in the spring.

BASKETBALL

KYS basketball is a recreation program created to develop the skills boys and girls ages 4-12. Our recreational league offers players plenty of practice time as well as guaranteed playing time. Recreational Team League is for coaches who wish to bring their own team to the league. Games and practices for both leagues are in gyms around west Knoxville.

FLAG FOOTBALL

Flag Football is great fun for boys and girls ages 4-14! All practices and games take place at Lakeshore Park. Children learn some of the key fundamentals of football, including offensive rules and tactics, defensive rules and tactics, scoring, and more. The season begins in early September and concludes in late October with a tournament for kids ages 6-14.

LACROSSE

KYS lacrosse is for boys age 9-14. Practice and games take place at Lakeshore Park during both the spring and fall seasons. Many players each season come to this new and growing sport without any experience and end up playing for several years because of its unique challenges. Lacrosse requires the combined skills of football, basketball, hockey, and soccer.
